We had an absolute blast yesterday for Morgan's birthday. Morgan and I went to the grocery strore to get what we thought would be way too much food. We got beef terriaki (sp?), salmon, hamburgers, potato salad, fries, zucchini, asparagus, and I made a huge batch of guacamole. Shannon, Katz, Chuck, Jesse, and Nate all showed up around 230. We drank by the pool coming up with random prop bets of which Jesse was the big loser. Cody and his brother Shaun came over and we decided to go to the park and play croquet. We all had to hop a fence, but we got to a very nice baseball field in order to play. Katz, Morgan and I were the only team not to win, but I blame it on there being no croquet in New Jersey. We came back to the house where Mary and Renee met us. I proceeded to cook for everyone. I actually did not have any of the food so I dont know how good it was, but it was all gone outside of a piece of salmon and 1/4 of a zucchini. We went on to finally use our fire pit and make smores. All in all it was a terrific day. I am sure we will be well rested for today's day 2 of the WSOP.

- I am currently a poker player living in Las Vegas. If poker doesn't work out I will take a serious look into becoming a professional flipper. However, this may be more of a sweat than my current job. For now I am enjoying the profession - the cash games and tourneys. I certainly do not recommend this job for everyone as it is often a grind and, as my wife can atest to, when I have a bad day at work, it's a bad day in general. But I love the competition and I love the game. Gl to you.
