The first day was a bit of a blur for me. We got in at 845am Barcelona time (1145pm pst). We went through a long cab ride and a wonderful lunch and before we knew it was 1pm. We headed over to the casino to check out the scene. We of course headed to the bar and indulged ourselves with Estralla Damm's (spanish beer). This to0k its toll becaus after 25 hrs after being awake we caved in around 5pm local time.
We woke up around 4am local time (11 hrs of sleep) and watched super trooper till breakfast was open. After breakfast we went a sight seeing. A few beers and a bunch a walking later we bought a ticket to a tourist bus. We were able to see a good bit of the city without having to move which pleased me. After a couple hours of this we got of close to where we got on looking for a place for lunch. A bar that happened to serve to lunch caught our attention and we stepped in. They served massive mugs of beer and a couple bites of food. When all was said and done I had a healthy buzz and we were walking back to the hotel. Along the way a few other bars caught our attention and of course stopped in for the facilities and a brew.
The sights were great and the beer was delecious, but we have to play an EPT tommorrow, so we are attempting to stay up till 11pm local time to get acclamated. I am a bit drunk (cant see) so I might be able to fill in some details tommorrow.
