I told myself I was going to play ABC style poker for this tournament, but I couldnt even make it past the first hand. I raised with 54o from the cutoff, the button and BB called. A87r flop, I c-bet and the button called. Turn was a Q, and I decide a c'raise is the best course of action. I was wrong and he shipped, I lost 1/3 of my stack. I won a combo draw vs an over pair to get me back to 5k. From there I had the table controlled. I worked my stack up to 15k with only having to show twice. I picked an obvious line to bluff on a hand and got called to lose 3k of it. Then I lost a flip for 5k of it. Then I called a min. 3 bet with 97dd. The flop came 9 hi, but I froze and gave him the free turn Kh. I of course bet with no plan and he ripped, obv. AK. So now down to 5k and the blinds at 150/300 and a somewhat active player raised from the cutoff and I looked down at 88. I shipped my 18.5 BB and he snap called with KK. Board ran out Kxxxx. Out 1200ish/2800ish.
Im not playing very well and I dont know where to start to fix it. The shorthand tourny is tom. which is one of my stonger events, so hopefully that will snap me out of it. If not, I may just go back to the basics. Hopefully I will have the patience for it.

I wish I would have stuck around. You were doing so well when I was watching. I've got a good feeling about the rest of the series. Good luck!
