The day started well, despite being caught in traffic and missing a couple hands. I chipped up early including a nice scoop in Stud/8 with a flush and a 6 lo beating Tuan Le's 7 hi straight. That pot put me close to 50K going into my best games NLH and PLO. I immediately doubled Tuan up with KK vs AA for about a 30K pot. Then in PLO I have AsKdQs7d raise and get two callers. Flop was Ks7s2h, giving me top two and the nut flush draw. I bet 2/3 pot and they both called. Turn was the Jc. I bet 2/3 pot again and the button called. River was the 3c. We both checked. The button showed KJxx with a worse flush draw to take it. The pot put me down to about 11K. Coming back from dinner I had 8K going into O/8. I ended up going in with a horrible hand with 1/4 of my stack in the BB. I was dead on the flop and out the door in about 58th/412.
10K PLH is today and despite making a couple mistakes yesterday, my confidence is high.
